Look I did some research! Erzebet Bathory also known as the Blood Countess, one of the most infamous figures in history, she comes from a long line of kings and queens of Transylvania and Poland born in 1560. After her husbands death she feared of growing old. So when she stuck a servant girl for combing her hair too hard some of her blood fell on her hand. She believed the blood made her skin look younger, she convinced her self that the blood was the secret of eternal youth. She also convinced it were the blood from virgin girls that would be more effective. So she murdered the maid to bathe in her blood and from there the most notorious deeds began. The torturing of girls would be put through would last for weeks even months. They were soon cut in several different ways to provide blood for Bathory to bathe herself with. More than six hundred woman died because of Erzebet. These women ranged from peasants to members of the nobility. |
